Storm FC aims to provide soccer for all youth players in our communities from 18 months to 23 years olds.

Storm FC was founded in 2001 as a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization.

The club began in Ennis, Texas, with three teams, the '88 Boys, '90 Boys & the '92 boys. Quickly growing through our coaching methodology and long-term player development process we gained promotions to Dallas Boys Classic leagues.

Through this, it became apparent that the families wanted us to become more central in the Ellis County area to better serve the entire area.

We now currently have full-time staff at our offices located in Waxahachie along with our practice facilities which were purpose-built by us in 2013, also located in Waxahachie.

We have a West division that practices out of the Weatherford area, a Central Division out of Arlington/Mansfield/Grand Prairie, a southwest division in the Burleson/Cleburne area, an East Dallas Division out of Forney,  and our North East division out of Pennsylvania.

Our club coaches have the single mission of developing players both individually and within teams, this is regardless of the player's initial knowledge and skill level. Players are then registered on the appropriate team for their ILP, individual development plan.

There are many options for youth players to choose from. Storm FC has set ourselves apart by giving each player a family-focused experience.
The club has a foundation upon faith and life development.  We want our families and coaches to know that we are developing players to become stand-up citizens of this great country, as well as competent decision-making soccer players.

We believe our future is our youth's future and this is what we invest in.

Soccer is our passion, but we use that vehicle to create an environment that is conducive to learning, being respectful, having strong self-belief, and also wanting to give up their time to help others within the community.

Storm FC Programs

FUNdaMINIs

FUNdaMINIs is a program for 18 months to 5-year-olds. There is no league.
Players learn body movement, commands, turning, eye-hand coordination progressing through to skill acquisition based on our model of player development

GrassROOTS

Our GrassROOTS program is for players aged U4-U12. Players in this program will work on gaining knowledge and individual skill acquisition. These players play games after their training each week in an "In house" development league where scores will not be recorded. This allows for players/coaches and parents to not focus on the game outcome but rather the individual player's targets.

Storm FC Bio Banding Program

Our bio banding program will be incorporated in both the GrassROOTS and competitive training programs.
This program will be once a week and through our identified player indicators, players will gain more confidence, quicker skill acquisition, and overall player development. Training will be 5v5 and SSG formats, incorporating Sports science principles, Principles of Play training as well as skill Training, finishing with 5v5 non-coaches games.

Junior Academy

Our Junior Academy program is for players aged 5-10. These players will train twice a week and play games on the weekend against competitive teams. Using our Long Term Player Development Pathway we don't emphasize results at this development stage but the promotion of our style and philosophy of play. We teach the beginnings of the Storm FC Way, by introducing and completing at each age stage point in our development pathway our required evaluation skills and knowledge to graduate to the next season. Players can utilize the GrassROOTS and Bio Banding programs to increase their development. The club has numerous outlets for learning including our private StormHUB that will allow players to accomplish homework-style tasks.

Competitive

We provide competitive soccer teams for players 10-19 years old, Competitive teams are registered to play in leagues and competitions with US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer. Leagues include Arlington Premier Invitational, PrimeTime Club League, Dallas Classic Boys League, Lake Highlands Girls Classic League, Southern Regional Premier League, and more.

Elite Academy

Our Elite Academy offers players the ability to also play in elite leagues. Storm FC produces teams aged U11-U19 boys and girls that play in the ECNL Reginal League - NTX, DPL (Development Players League), EA League (Elite Academy League), US Club Soccer's National Premier League (NPL) Red River Conference, and United Soccer League (USL Super Y League).

Each of these leagues offers our players various iD courses, routes to national events, and Coaching education courses.

Professional Scottish Premiership Coaches Education

Storm FC has a direct and exclusive partnership with Partick Thistle FC of Glasgow and a direct partnership with Glasgow Rangers FC.
Our partnership with both clubs provides us with our summer pro team preseason camps. Storm FC and the Scottish clubs share information on both present and modern coaching methods, playing philosophies, and more to maintain our commitment on investing in our players.

Partick Thistle FC Head of Academy and Storm FC's Technical Director have both worked together in the early '00s, because of this we have developed mutual programs to assist in the development of our players and identifying key indicators that will increase development quicker. This partnership will see our coaches and select teams visit Partick Thistle for 7-10 days in a fully immersive coaching educational program, from a top-level professional club in Scotland.
